Nunc EasYDish 100mm Sterile Vented Petri Dishes (Surplus)

These are genuine Thermo Scientific™ Nunc™ EasYDish™ 100 mm dishes, the same high-clarity dishes we pour our own prepared agar plates into. We acquired a large lot from university surplus and are passing it along at a fraction of the cost of new lab-supply dishes.

Condition and dating: please read

• Unopened 10-dish sleeves from original cases, gamma-irradiated sterile with the manufacturer's radiation indicator present.
• The manufacturing date code on the cases is March 2021. The manufacturer specifies a 5-year shelf life from manufacture, so these dishes are past the manufacturer's dating.
• Sold as surplus for hobby, educational, and mycology use. They are not intended for clinical, diagnostic, or cell-culture applications that require certified sterility within the manufacturer's dating.
• Inspect each sleeve before use and don't use any dish from a sleeve that is torn or open.

• Full case (150 dishes): Best value for heavy users, small labs, and classrooms

Tips for mycology

• Pour agar in a still air box or in front of a flow hood, keeping lids closed except while pouring.
• The vented lids help gas exchange; seal inoculated plates with parafilm to keep contaminants out.
• Store poured plates upside down so condensation doesn't drip onto the agar.
• Pouring your own? Our dry agar mix comes pre-measured in four formulas. Rather skip the pour? Our prepared agar plates come ready to use.
